The Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF/NVQ Equivalent) is designed for people who are new to care or already working in health and social care. This nationally recognised qualification gives you the knowledge, skills and confidence to provide safe, effective and person-centred care. Upon successful completion of the Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF / NVQ Equivalent), learners will have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to work effectively within the care sector and build a strong foundation for their career.

There are no prerequisites for this qualification, however It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+.
This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed and internally quality assured by the centre.

The Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF), learners must complete and pass the qualification to a standard of 46 Credit Value to obtain the full Diploma.
