The Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care (RQF / NVQ Equivalent) is designed for individuals who are starting their career in the care sector or are currently working or volunteering in a health and social care setting.This qualification provides the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care. There are no prerequisites for this qualification, however It is advised that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent. This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16+.
This qualification is assessed through completion of a portfolio of evidence which will be assessed and internally quality assured by the centre.

The Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF), learners must complete and pass the qualification to a standard of 46 Credit Value to obtain the full Diploma.
