KIB Training – Learner Terms and Conditions
1. About These TermsThese terms form an agreement between you and KIB Healthcare Training Ltd (“KIB Training”).By signing your Learner Agreement, making a payment or asking us to begin your course, you confirm that you accept these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your legal consumer rights.

3. Enrolment
Before accepting your enrolment, we may ask for identification, employment information, previous certificates or evidence that you meet the course entry requirements. Your place is confirmed when: We have accepted your application. You have provided the required documents. Your payment arrangements have been agreed. Any required initial payment has been received. You must ensure that all information and documents you provide are accurate and genuine.
4. Course Delivery
Your course information will confirm the qualification, course fees, expected duration, assessment methods and support available. Courses may include online learning, written work, professional discussions, workplace observations and tutor support. We may make reasonable changes to meet legal, regulatory or awarding-organisation requirements. We will inform you if a significant change affects your course. KIB Training cannot guarantee employment, promotion, sponsorship, professional registration or entry to another course.
5. Your Responsibilities
You agree to: Complete and submit your own work. Participate regularly and make reasonable progress. Attend agreed meetings, discussions and observations. Respond to your tutor or assessor. Keep your contact and employment details updated. Follow KIB Training’s policies. Behave respectfully towards staff and other learners. Pay course fees when due. Protect confidential information used in workplace evidence. Continued non-engagement may result in your course being paused or your registration being withdrawn.
6. Authenticity and Artificial Intelligence
All submitted work must be your own. You must not copy another person’s work, purchase answers, fabricate evidence or use artificial intelligence to produce assessments that you present as entirely your own. We may use plagiarism and authenticity checks or ask you to explain your work through a professional discussion. Suspected malpractice will be handled under our Malpractice and Maladministration Policy.
7. Assessment and Certification
Enrolment does not guarantee that you will achieve the qualification. To receive your certificate, you must:Meet all assessment requirements. Submit sufficient and authentic evidence. Complete any required observations or discussions. Meet awarding-organisation requirements.Complete quality-assurance checks.Pay all fees properly due. If you disagree with an assessment decision, you may use our Assessment Appeals Procedure.
8. Course Fees and Payment Plans
The total course fee and payment arrangements will be confirmed before enrolment. If you pay by instalments, this is a payment plan for the full course and not a separate monthly course subscription. If a payment is missed, we will contact you and give you a reasonable opportunity to pay. If the account remains overdue, we may pause learning, assessment or certification until payment arrangements are brought up to date. Please contact us promptly if you experience payment difficulties.
9. Your 14-Day Cancellation Right
If you enrol online or by telephone as a consumer, you will normally have 14 calendar days to cancel from the day after your enrolment is accepted. To cancel, email admissions@kibtraining.co.uk. If you cancel before the course begins, we will normally refund payments received within 14 days. If you ask us to begin the course during the cancellation period and then cancel, we may deduct a reasonable amount for services already provided and costs already incurred. Where you expressly agree to receive digital content during the cancellation period and acknowledge that your cancellation right will be affected, you may lose the right to cancel that digital content once access begins.
10. Withdrawal After 14 Days
You may withdraw after the cancellation period by notifying us in writing. You may still be responsible for: Services and support already provided. Registration and awarding-organisation charges already incurred. Learning materials already supplied. Reasonable costs KIB Training has committed and cannot recover. We will provide a clear breakdown of any refund or remaining balance. We will not impose a disproportionate cancellation charge. Exceptional requests for a course break, extension or transfer will be considered individually and may involve an additional fee.
11. Suspension or Withdrawal by KIB Training
We may suspend or end your enrolment if you: Do not pay agreed fees. Stop engaging with the course. Provide false information or evidence. Commit plagiarism, malpractice or fraud. Behave in an abusive, threatening or unsafe way. Seriously or repeatedly breach our policies. No longer meet an essential qualification requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the concern and give you a reasonable opportunity to respond.
12. Course Changes or Closure
We may need to change, suspend or withdraw a course because of awarding-organisation requirements, legal changes, qualification expiry, technical problems or circumstances outside our control. We will notify affected learners and take reasonable steps to minimise disruption. If we permanently stop providing your course, we may offer a suitable transfer or refund fees paid for services that have not been provided.
13. Course Materials
Course materials, assessment documents, videos and online resources remain the property of KIB Training or their respective owner. They are provided for your personal studies only. You must not copy, sell, publish or share them or allow another person to use your online account.
14. Data Protection and Safeguarding
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We may share relevant information with the awarding organisation, assessors, quality assurers, regulators or other authorised organisations where necessary. Safeguarding concerns will be handled sensitively. However, we may share information with the appropriate authorities if we believe someone is at risk of harm.

16. Consumer Rights and Liability
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate information you provide, your failure to follow reasonable instructions or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
17. General Terms
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. We may update these terms when necessary, but changes will not unfairly reduce the rights of learners who are already enrolled. By completing your enrolment, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions.
